DIY: Revived Cabinet

Decorating my apartment is one of my favorite things to do. Joe and I recently moved into this super adorable apartment building within Historic Seminole Heights that has been restored to look as if the 50s are still alive.

My kitchen is tiny. Some would say oh it’s cozy and adorable, but I know what they are really thinking, it’s ridiculously small. Apparently back in the 50s they didn’t like storage. I had no place to store my Cheerios. I need storage for my Cheerios.

So I hit the thrift stores and found this hidden Gem:

DIY Revived Cabinet BeforeSorry for the poor photo quality. It does make the after look a lot better though.

I bought this cabinet at a local thrift store for $40, bought some paint and cabinet liners at our local Home Depot and found some new spice racks at The Container Store.

Oh, and Anthropologie! I found the cutest knobs at Anthropologie. I had too much fun picking out knobs.

I love repainting old pieces of furniture. I hope this inspires you to take something old and make it your own!

Cheers!
